On-device AI

All AI features run on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Your confirmation emails, documents and photos are read on the device and are never sent to an AI company.

What we store

• Your trips (destinations, dates, bookings, plans, checklists) and your travel profile, so they sync and stay backed up.
• Booking emails you forward to your private My Trip Book address, until your iPhone has read them.
• Your account from Sign in with Apple: an Apple user ID, and your name and email if you choose to share them (Apple lets you hide your email).
• Feedback and problem reports you send from Settings, with your app version and iPhone model.
• Your plan (Free or Pro). Payments are handled by Apple; we never see card details.

What stays on your iPhone

• Your photos and videos. Recap videos are made on the device.
• Your location, if you allow it, which is only used to show you on the map.

Sharing

When you share a trip, anyone with the link can see its title, dates, plan and guide, and (unless you turn it off for that trip) your flight numbers and times, airports and terminals, and where you're staying, so friends know when to drop you off and pick you up. Confirmation codes, prices, seats, checklist and notes are never included. Turn sharing off in the app to disable the link.

Calendar

If you turn it on, My Trip Book adds your flights, hotel and car times to a My Trip Book calendar on your device, and reads upcoming events in your calendars that look like travel bookings so it can add them to your trips. Calendar events are read on your iPhone; only the bookings you keep in My Trip Book are saved to your account.

Wishlist and fare alerts

Places you add to "Places I want to go", your home city, and a push-notification token are stored so we can check flight prices daily and notify you. Flight prices come from Travelpayouts (Aviasales); we send them only city codes and dates, never anything about you. Booking links open Aviasales, which has its own privacy policy.

Website analytics

Our website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. The app has no ads and no third-party tracking.

Other services

Weather comes from Open-Meteo and exchange rates from Frankfurter; the app sends them only a place's coordinates or a currency code. To suggest your home city, the app asks Travelpayouts for the nearest city to your network address. If live flight status is enabled, the flight number and date are sent to our flight data provider.

Deleting your data

Open Settings ▸ your name ▸ Delete account in the app. Your account, trips and profile are removed from our server immediately, and My Trip Book's access to your Apple ID is revoked.
